reset will exit ra by default, so just hit reset, then power to turn off the console. while you're in retroarch, assign the menu to a button combo also just in case you need it.Įdit 2: alright, I've just confirmed it. click on the quit retroarch button hotkey, then press the reset button. I'm not sure about the psx classic, but you can change it in I think hotkeys. the nes and snes are already tied to quit retroarch with the reset button. exiting ra will take you back there.Įdit: I mean to say you can exit ra in the menu, which you can assign to a hotkey, or you could do what I did with the genesis, assign quitting ra to the reset button. the project eris menu where you can go into ra or eris itself is where you can just hit the switch. I always turn my systems completely off with a toggle switch, so I wait for that orange light. it takes a few moments, so just watch for the power button led to turn orange. I use a wireless controller for all of the minis, so it's easier that way I guess, but you still have to push the power button to shut it off. I'm not sure about the psx classic as I just use the menu. it's automatically assigned with the nes and snes, but I had to manually add it with the genesis. other minis allow you to quit retroarch or a game with the reset button. I have mine setup with I think select and start buttons pressed at the same time. you can change what button activates the menu in hotkey settings iirc. as for having to unplug the system to turn it off, there's an issue with ra with every retro system where you have to exit ra to shutdown the system via the normal way. I had to with the games I've played (only playstation games), but then the system will remember it after doing it once.
